Following the complete renewal of the TMD board, we are pleased to present the new season with a strong, partially renewed team. You will now find our festival under the name "TEMPO"! Six "TEMPO" concerts are scheduled for 2026. Ticket prices remain unchanged (€25 standard, €10 reduced). For concerts with free admission, the artists are compensated through your generosity via voluntary contributions ("passing the hat"). Our new website is currently under construction and will be available very soon. You will then be able to book online (as in previous years) or by mail, enclosing your payment.

Saturday, April 25 8:30 PM

Concert featuring the two wind orchestras from the Montauban Conservatory at the Lafrançaise village hall. A wind orchestra is a musical ensemble comprising woodwind, brass, and percussion sections, as well as the double bass. Open seating; voluntary contribution. ​ Friday, June 19 – Fête de la Musique (World Music Day) 9:00 PM Interphone (Téléphone tribute band) Immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere of the 80s with Interphone, a band paying tribute to one of the most iconic groups on the French rock scene. Place de la Promenade, Lafrançaise Open seating; voluntary contribution. ​ ​

 

Friday, July 31 8:30 PM

Anna and Roman Jbanov: "Voyage Romanesque" (Romantic Journey) – Piano and accordion duo. Through a rich repertoire ranging from Bach to Piazzolla—and including Mozart, Vivaldi, and Tchaikovsky—this Ukrainian musical couple engages in a dialogue through the diverse timbres and colors of their instruments, which blend beautifully together. Château de Blauzac, Vazerac. Reservations recommended; open seating available. ​ ​

 

Friday, August 28

8:30 PM

The Fortecello Duo and slam poet Lhomé: a virtuoso trio of notes, strings, and words. In this unique project, slam poetry is set within a magnificent musical framework—classical music ranging from Pachelbel’s Baroque style to film scores—allowing the audience to become immersed in the magic of sound and words. Mr. Loubatières’ Barn, Montastruc. Reservations recommended; open seating available.

 

Friday, October 2

8:30 PM

David Lively, performing an American program spanning from the mid-19th century to the latter half of the 20th century. A musical journey spanning a century, from Gottschalk’s "Souvenir de Porto Rico" to Gershwin’s Preludes and Scott Joplin’s famous "Maple Leaf Rag." Château de La Baronnie, Lafrançaise. Reservations recommended; open seating. Saturday, December 5 8:00 PM The Olympe Orchestra performs under the direction of conductor Jérôme Lezian. Piano: Alexey Dimitriadis Program and schedule to be announced later. Lafrançaise Village Hall (Salle des fêtes). Reservations recommended; open seating.
