*Romance Urbaine* is a journey into a man’s heart—a place where love, faith, the longing for a better world, and a tender view of the surrounding universe all intertwine. In this unique creative project, spoken-word poetry is set against a magnificent musical backdrop—ranging from Pachelbel’s Baroque compositions to film scores—allowing the audience to lose themselves in a blend of sounds and words that are by turns gentle and comforting, powerful and rhythmic.
A truly immersive visual, musical, and lyrical experience for the audience. Lhomé: Slam / Duo Fortecello: Philippe Argenty (piano) and Anna Mikulska (cello) Biography: Polish cellist Anna Mikulska and Franco-Spanish pianist Philippe Argenty sought to bring together music rooted in their respective backgrounds and sensibilities. Their programs take audiences on a journey across countries—particularly Poland, Spain, and France—while offering an accessible way to discover various musical forms. Their concerts, remarkable for their diversity and virtuosity, are performed by two musicians whose training at prestigious European institutions has shaped a musical vision that is both universal and cosmopolitan.
Since 2014, Duo Fortecello has been invited to perform at prestigious events such as the Festival de Música de Sant Pere de Rodes (Spain), Alba Music Festival (Italy), Euro Chamber Music Festival (Poland), and Art Duo Festival (Czech Republic). They have undertaken numerous European tours and captivated audiences in China, the United States, Canada, Tunisia, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Norway, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Portugal, Belgium, and Germany. In June 2019, they appeared as soloists with the Spanish orchestra Atlantida Symphony to perform Théodore Dubois’s *Suite Concertante* for cello, piano, and orchestra. They are scheduled to perform Piazzolla’s *Double Concerto* with the Perpignan-Catalonia Orchestra in 2025, and will return as soloists with Atlantida in Madrid in 2026. Their debut album, *Tour du Monde en Violoncelle et Piano opus 1*, was released in July 2015. Their second album, *Soul of Nations*—released in June 2018 on the KNS Classical label—was featured twice on France Musique. Their third album, *Chopin: Ange ou démon*, was released in 2023 on the VDE Gallo label and also received acclaim on France Musique. Cascavelle, the fourth "Passions Espagnoles" and "Romance Urbaine" will be released in 2026.
